Burns Bog will be decorating a Christmas Tree for the Festival of Trees where they can win a $500 donation!
We want our tree to represent a part of Burns Bog and decided to hang 1000 origami cranes on it as the Greater Sandhill Crane nests in the bog.
To get enough cranes we are hosting a paper crane-folding party Saturday, Nov. 12 from 9-4 at the office of the Burns Bog Conservation Society (4-7953 120 Street, Delta, BC V4C 6P6).
Food and drinks will be provided as a little thank you for your time.
